While David and I worked on
our scarves this week, Son
worked hard on his--and finished! Not only did he knit it; he
spun the yarn himself out of pencil roving and even used handmade needles. What a feat!

Son did a wonderful job on the scarf.
That's some talented son of yours! Sounds like he is awful patient...and will actually willingly eat his greens!
And a big thank you for visiting my newbie blog and leaving me such a nice comment!
What a lovely scarf! I'm so impressed by how into fiber arts your son is. I'm definitely going to have to drag my 5 year old in to see his photos so that he has proof that "boys knit". Even though he's seen grown men knitting (at a knitting group.. my husband wouldn't be caught dead doing it, unfortunately) he's still under the impression that knitting is "for girls".
Yea son! Great job.
Has anyone in the business seen that wonderful model there in the pictures you posted? Georgeous scarf and model!
Great job! Please tell your son that lots of internet wierdos are proud of him and love the scarf :)
very nice! And he wears it well too. :)
Beautifully done! I should probably feel worse about being trumped in the FO department by one so young. But I don't! He is a talented guy!
That's quite an accomplishment! Good for him. It looks fabulous, too.
