I attended an academic conference this weekend where I talked about lynching in the New South, dreamed about Stephanie Pearl-McPhee's new book
Casts Off
(due this spring!), and knit 9 repeats of Evelyn Clark's Shetland Triangle Shawl (from
Wrap Style
) in
Knit Picks Gloss:

I can't believe I started yet another project.... Is there ANY hope of finishing the
castle sweater for
NaKniSweMo?

Your Shetland Triangle is just gorgeous! Eventually, everything gets knit (or not) ;)
gorgeous! I've been eyeing that pattern up but am a bit too chicken to start it.
Beautiful shawl. I just started my first in lace weight. Think of me....As for your comment to me. I am the baker, The Husband just finds the recipes and buys the supplies. His grandfather owned a bakery in Brooklyn and TH discovered that he is allergic to air-borne flour.
Everything gets done its own time. Meanwhile, how could you not cast on for that shawl??? It is beautiful!
Aaaaaack....spring is gonna be a good time.
Gorgeous triangle, too. I don't blame you one little bit for starting new projects. Nope. But then, we're maybe not the best audience if you're looking for a guilt trip...:-)
I can! I am making socks from that yarn and it feels much like eating chocolate - how could you NOT cast on something with it!
I've got some of that yarn in the stash. You're tempting me to pull it out and cast on. I was saving it for socks, but after seeing your Shetland Triangle, it might just become a shawl.
I didn't know about the Harlot's new book. Now I too will be waiting!
