A conference has brought me to Richmond, Va. for a few days. In honor of the patron saint of this blog, we visited the city's Edgar Allan Poe Museum.

Today, I'm off to the academic meeing (where my book will be on display!) while David and Son explore the city. I hear there are at least two yarnstores here....
Oh, I truly hope you enjoy your time in my former home! I miss it so much there! Be sure to stop by Can Can when you visit the Yarn Lounge -- amazing food.
what a wonder man Poe was.. I grew up in the Bronx (in an apartment building with the plaque that noted Poe's bronx residence was actually located there, (and moved across the street to Poe Park at a later point..
i have friends in Baltimore, who,too claim him as a native son (well he died there) and then there is richmond Va..
(the man got around!)
Poe's cottages is hardly a museum.. maybe one of theses day's i'll get back to richmond and see it.. (i was last i Poe's cottage some 10 years ago)

I could spend a fortune in the online shop for the Poe Museum... I think I need a teeshirt and a totebag!
