Seraphim

I'm in heaven!

As I said the other day, this shawl was not my favorite to knit. By the end, the rows seemed unbearably long. The stitch pattern utterly failed to keep me enthralled. But I've never knit a shawl I thought I would wear more than this one. It will be warm, soft beyond belief (cashmere yarn), and simple enough that my plain-jane self won't feel like I'm wearing a costume. Thanks again to that marvelous designer, Miriam Felton.

Gorgeous! Beautiful handknit. Wear it in happiness and good health. :)

I've got an Icarus (same designer) on the needles right now.

Lovely! And that last photo is great. You look as though a very tall person has just complimented you on that fetching shawl.

Just lovely!!!!! It looks so soft, even in the picture. You sometimes can't tell from photos...but you can in this one. Nice work!

Beautiful Seraphim!

Did you use laceweight? I have this pattern and began it last year but didn't like the yarn I was using. I keep wanting to try it with laceweight rather than fingering. I'm curious as to what yarn you used.

It's really, really beautiful!

After seeing one pic on the Lace Shawl KAL, I had to see your others. It turned out beautifully and the color is fabulous. I used a wool-mohair mix, and I also think that mine will be a shawl that gets a lot of use.

It's a beautiful shawl Hannah. I'm working on mine now. I can only hope it looks half as gorgeous as what you knit.

Lovely, just lovely! I especially like the babushka shot at the end there. ;-)

Gorgeous! Really nicely done, and a beautiful color. Even if it was boring to knit, it does seem more practical than a fancier, more "interesting" one!
