The Ravenous Raven: Local Drink

Given the fact that we were out of town and having a relatively difficult week, we did not prepare a local meal this week. We did, however, buy a bottle of local wine at a gas station in North Carolina. Very sweet--with a delicious scent. Nice dessert wine!

No bother... you've got more important things on your plate than eating locally right now. Local wine is good, though.
My thoughts are with you.

Is it just me, or does the yarn from the next post look gorgeous with the wine? Is this why I love all wine-colored yarns -- because I like the idea of pairing knitting with a little wine, and want it to match? Hmm.

Thanks so much for sharing the adventures of your WIPs - these pics really make my day.

My thoughts are with you, too, as you go through these horrible medical hoops. Sometimes I think knitting must have been invented by some ancient while sitting up with a sick person. Certainly nothing seems more right than to knit when you're waiting, and worried, and scared. Best of luck to your Dad!
