Homegrown Revolution

Isn't it incredible how dangerous the act of creating can be?

As these inspiring gardeners say, when you produce your own food and are able to separate from the commerical food supply, you are in danger of becoming free.

Ok, this is awesome.

I haven't said a single word about it on my blog, but I have met with some really amazing folks ( to help me convert my backyard. They only install edible landscaping, and their whole goal is to train people (like me, who has killed a cactus) how to become self-sufficient.

PS..hope you guys are on the mend. My croup story? When I was a little kid my mom dragged me in the bathroom in the middle of the night and ran the bath as hot as possible to fill the room with steam. I was screaming my head off and crying because I thought she was going to put me in the tub (I was two, and if she explained what was really happening, I missed it). She never knew what had me so upset until about a year ago when we talked about it LOL.

Pretty cool stuff.

Hope the plague is done with you all! The three of us have been passing it back and forth between us since Jan. It's the busiest time of the year for us too.

This is just great! I am on a local Permaculture Yahoo list and just got a BBC article about people growing their own wheat as the price goes through the ceiling - email me and I will forward you the link!
