As long as he has his own yarn stash.. I think that a mate that knitted would be awesome. You're definitely lucky to have a husband who actually "gets" your hobby and doesn't think its a ridiculous waste of time.
You both have amazingly clean toenails:) I haven't checked in on you for a while, but I'm always glad when I do. Your "Lost" post was so affirming for me, even though you seemed to be questioning yourself a little. You affirmed for me is important in life basically. What more could you give a child then a well educated mother who is actually THERE to guide him?
I have found, in our little house, that sitting together and knitting on the couch is one of the best things ever. Seeing others with the same joy is lovely.

I'm a pretty dedicated single gal...but if I could find me a partner who'd knit and cuddle on the couch with me I might just reconsider! ;)

We don't do that here at Casa Specs, but we do have evenings of him reading/internetting and me knitting on the couch. I love the quietness of that.
