The blog will be on hold until the new year. Hope you all enjoy the holidays--and get plenty of time to knit and cook and catch up on all the blogs you haven't read in months. (Oh--those are my wishes for myself....)

BTW: My cowriter and I got a YouTube review!

The YouTube review was so cool--was it positive? Fair?
Yep. He talks about how he learned about the book in class, then summarizes the story, shows how horrible what happened to Wilson was, says how interesting the book is, and then suggests that others might want to read it too. :)
Boy, my signing skills sure are rusty! I haven't used it in years and years...and wasn't that good to begin with. ;) But, I think I got the gist. I'm glad that the deaf community seems to be having a positive experience with the book. It's distressing to me that such a thing could have happened in what I consider to be the not-so-distant past. But when we tell a story we change all the future stories, right?
Happy Holidays and a Prosperous New Year to you and yours!
How cool is that? It's been viewed almost 200 times already, too, in its first 24 hours... At the reviewer's blog, he got a bunch of comments about it, too.
Oh, very cool!
Merry Christmas, Hannah!
